Molecular odour neutralisation formula

Blue Formula

Eliminates odours derived from mercaptans and, to a lesser extent, fatty acids.

Sweat

Crowds of people, cramped conditions, footwear, sports bags and changing rooms

Faecal toilet odours

Toilets with strong faecal odours

Smoke and burnt

Combustion smoke and burnt odours.

Solvent and paint

Organic solvents in maintenance, construction and industrial environments.

Scent note

Talc

The aroma that remains after the odour has been neutralised.

Neutralising is not saturating

A fragrance-filled air freshener keeps the molecule lingering there. Blue Formula does not compete with that molecule: it reacts with it and transforms it into another molecule that doesn't smell.

Technical specifications

Resulting aroma

Talc. Subtle but persistent, associated with hygienic and well-maintained environments.

Molecular groups

Thiols (mercaptans), organic solvents and fatty acids.

Scope of application

Toilets, buses and trains, offices, restaurants and high-footfall areas. At an industrial level, water treatment plants.

Compatible systems

Dry Vapor, Polymer, Polymer Plus and Intense Spray.

Conservation

12 months in the original sealed container, protected from light and below 25 °C. 6 months in conditions of use.

Safety and regulations

Complies with REACH regulations. No biocides, non-hazardous product.

Exceptions

Also belonging to Blue Formula are cadaverine (a dead body smell), rotten egg (pure hydrogen sulfide) and onion or garlic odour, where it acts as the main formula.

Four ways to dispense it

The appropriate system depends on the volume of the space, the available airflow, and the maintenance that can be assumed.

Dry Vapor

Elimination of odours in large spaces or with a strong odour load.

Liquid for dry vapour fogging machines that neutralises high-intensity odours in large spaces. It can be integrated into the ventilation system. It adds no moisture to the environment. Scentechnologies supplies the consumable, not the machine.

Standard concentration at 70 % Concentration Plus at 100% % Also in concentrated form

Polymer

Elimination of moderate-intensity odours.

Solid tablet that releases its active ingredients by sublimation using forced airflow, either through the ST Tower 2 unit or the building’s own HVAC system. Its aroma is barely perceptible, an advantage in public spaces and offices where people spend long hours.

50 to 100 m² Up to 8 weeks 1.5 W Tablets of 40 g

Polymer Plus

Passive odour elimination in small spaces.

Passive release by sublimation, making use of natural ventilation. Its reusable dispenser attaches with a clip or double-sided adhesive, with no tools or special skills required.

Up to 8 weeks Tablets of 40 g Without forced ventilation

Intense Spray

Instant odour elimination that you can take anywhere.

Water-soluble liquid spray for localised odours. Also available for continuous fogging of the water-soluble liquid, for industrial facilities and large volumes of air.

Bottles of 250 ml Different formats of ready-to-apply product. Also in concentrated form

Talc

A sense of deep cleanliness, softness and personal care. A comforting, familiar scent, associated with hygienic, well-maintained environments.

Three typical installations

Documented case studies in which Blue Formula is the recommended formula.

Transport: passenger carriages

Large numbers of people in one place create persistent odours. A Polymer tablet is installed in the carriage’s air-conditioning blower: the product is kept out of the public’s reach, adds no moisture or oils to the ducts, and its fragrance is imperceptible to passengers.

Water treatment plants

Wastewater treatment emits sulphur-based odours across the plant and its surroundings. A perimeter of fogging nozzles, fed with pre-diluted Blue Formula in a water-soluble base (Intense Spray) and controlled by a timed solenoid valve, neutralises the odour continuously.

Sewerage and pumping stations

tablets are placed at strategic points near the air inlets, and the natural movement of air disperses the active ingredients. Polymer Polymer at strategic points near the air inlets, and the natural movement of the air disperses the assets.
